AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) has announced the shortlist for the AAT Professional Member Awards 2018, which recognise and celebrates individual and collective success across AAT membership.

The winners of all seven awards will be anounced at a special dinner on Thursday 7 June, during the AAT Annual Conference to be held at the De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor, Berkshire. This is the second year that AAT has incorporated Professional Member Awards as part of its Conference.

The full shortlist is as follows:

Professional Member of the Year (AATQB)

  • Fahad Ali
  • Andrew Murray

Professional Member of the Year (MAAT)

  • Gemma Fosbrook
  • Nicola Norman
  • Gina Gardner

Professional Member of the Year (FMAAT)

  • Victoria Sharp
  • Coral Hamze
  • Hayley Lavens

Licenced Member of the Year

  • Laura Whyte
  • Kim Hughes
  • Gemma Denham

Rising Star of the Year

  • Brandon Yeadon
  • Gemma Fosbrook
  • Joshua Peach

AAT Champion of the Year

  • Teresa Clarke
  • Angela Demoore

Branch of the Year

  • East Surrey
  • Milton Keynes
  • Exeter
  • Swindon

Gemma Fosbrook MAAT, who is shortlisted for two awards, said:

I feel extremely honoured to have been nominated for two awards, as for me it represents all the hard work and commitment I have put in over the last couple of years. I feel grateful for everything I have achieved so far, and will continue to work hard to achieve so much more!
